What gets blocked

Anything on the device that tries to reach a known AI destination.

    Download Nullgen AI Blocker on the iPhone or iPad you want covered.

    Link it to your dashboard

    The app shows a 6-digit code. Enter it at nullgen.ai/link to assign the device to a person, or subscribe to Family right in the app.

    Turn on protection

    One tap adds the on-device filter. From then on, known AI apps and sites stop loading.

Domain-level, not prompt-level

Why the app blocks the whole destination

A phone cannot run the browser extension, so there is no prompt box to hook. Instead, the app stops the device from reaching known AI destinations at all. That covers every browser and the AI apps themselves, and it means a blocked tool simply fails to load rather than opening with a disabled prompt.

Not every AI feature can be blocked on a phone

Some AI features live inside a larger app that the phone needs for other things. Blocking those would break search, maps, or messaging, so the app leaves them alone.

Blocking happens on the device. Nothing you browse is sent to Nullgen.

Common questions about the mobile app

  • Is this a VPN?

    iOS lists it under VPN because that is the mechanism iOS offers for filtering. It does not route your traffic anywhere: blocking decisions happen on the phone and nothing you browse leaves it.

  • Does it block every AI app?

    It blocks known AI apps and sites, and the list keeps growing. AI built into a larger app your phone needs, such as Gemini inside Google Search or Meta AI inside Instagram, cannot be blocked without breaking that app. Use Screen Time or Family Link for those.

  • Can my child turn it off?

    There is nothing inside the app to turn it off. Protection stays on until an approver grants access to a specific tool for a set time.

  • Which devices are supported?

    iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later. The Android app is coming soon, and macOS and Windows agents are coming for desktop computers.

  • Is the app free?

    The app is included with every Nullgen Pro plan: Family, Education, and Enterprise. The browser extension stays free on its own.

  • Do I still need the browser extension?

    On computers, yes: the extension is what blocks the prompt in the browser. The app covers the phone or tablet. Both link to the same account.
